About the artist....

THE ART:

I am an artist, musician, actor and designer working in the beautiful mountains and forests of New Hampshire.

My art comes from a variety of influences, many of them literary, some cinematic and some certainly baser and more internal. I love the things, the props, the parts in backgrounds of old science fiction films. I also have an affinity for industrial machines, the more obtuse the better - outdated medical and scientific technology, turn-of-the-century clockwork , things that once had obvious function to someone, but which are rendered perplexing due to the change of temporal context. I truly love folk art, surrealism, abstract and 'installation' and sculptural art.

THE MUSIC:

Music is a huge part of me, and is present whenever I am working.

Recently my band Tin-Types released our debut album, "Album," which is available for download here:

You'll also find two of my previous solo EPs, "Wake to Dream" and "And the Choir Fell Silent" on the above site as well as iTunes etc.

I've also been performing my own original folk-based songs since I was 15 years old across New England, and formed/performed all over the northeastern US with bands 440 (bass), Mobius (lead guitar), The Elevator Tribe (percussion/guitar) and Scandal In Bohemia (lead vocal/guitar/keys).

I also create electronic and experimental music under the name "Dwaemer." You can find links on the right-hand navigation.

FILM/TV:

See the link to my IMDB page on the right.

In addition to what's there, I've also appeared in a number of independent short films, and most recently played the role of "Drag Queen" in "Unwound" (2011, Granite Creek), which was made for the Producer's Guild of America's 'Film in 51 hours' competition, and served in the art department for that film as well.
